This controller detects the material tension using load detectors arranged at
the both ends of the roll, controlling the powder clutch/brake and
AC motor's torque by making the set tension and the detected tension
equal.
This technique yields the highest precision compared to our other tension control
methods, maintaining exactly the tension you specified. It also features microcomputer
control, with a ten key input method and an intuitive interface, making for a
truly multi- function tension control system. |

This equipment uses a 16bit microcomputer to calculate the exact torque
requirements with minimal operational error. Additionally, the load
detector uses a load cell to reduce the detection error to a minimum. |

Simple operation
Troublesome dial adjustments are abandoned in favor of a numerical
keypad, providing exact input.
•Operating values such as initial zero, span setting, tension setting
and response gain can be digitally input, allowing consistency across
similar machines.

Small and lightweight
By adopting microcomputer control and by using a switching power supply,
the equipment is smaller and lighter, eliminating the need for reinforcing

Sophisticated Controls
Various advanced functions are included to help you perform more sophisticated
tension control
•The output voltage is automatically stored when the power is shut
off, and is immediately set when power is restored, allowing a quick,
effortless recovery from power failure.
•A DC value of 0-10V can be input to specify the external tension.
•A DC value of 0-10V is output to indicate external tension.
•In addition to a DC 24V signal, an analog 10V output is provided,
allowing for a wide range of control.
•An overcurrent protection circuit is provided to protect the controller
in case of a power failure.
•Internal failures can be detected automatically with integrated diagnostics. |
